What we know so far:

Carolina was likely born in Brakpan. Her parents had a boarding house in Brakpan and husband to be came up from East-London to come work on the mines and met his wife in Brakpan. Her birth certificate states "Transvaal" only.

Carolina's parents were Hendrik and Susanna Becker.
