Comments:
As one intelligent being
transfers information to another, the information is broken down into data,
which is mediated in several dimensions. The physical mediation includes material
mediation (natural mediation and technological mediation). The key requirement
to enable the receiver to decode the data is the adequacy of the medium or media
to deliver the data to the receiver. The second level of mediation is physical
mediation. This is the physical body's ability to encode and decode the data.
The last form of mediation is mental mediation, which draws from the richness
of the mind to shape the message. This includes variables from the WILL, EXPERIENCE,
PERCEPTION, and CONTEXT.

to information.
